WEKAF organizes a variety of different championships with its key objectives of promote around the world Filipino Martial arts, preserve Filipino original martial Arts and to promote people good health trough sports. Its major events are:

WEKAF World Championships  

Leading FMA championships of major impact. These are large international championships held in significant cities around the world. They provide a forum for the intensive sticks fighting and forms presentations and allow the world’s leading martial arts and owners of FMA schools to exchange ideas and information. They include sports competences, congress meeting and master’s workshops. These are acknowledged to be the most exciting and meaningful Filipino martial arts championship. They have delegates from all around the world and an excellent mixture of masters and martial artist from all backgrounds.
Puerto Vallarta Mexico 2010- WEKAF 2010 is the 11th WEKAF World Championship. This will be the next great WEKAF championship and will provide an excellent opportunity to reinforce the unique global responsibilities of WEKAF.

WEKAF European Championship

Europe organizes a unique Championship where all European countries are invited in order to get his teams that will participate in World championships.

WEKAF National Championships

Each country organizes a National championship to get the National team to be presented at World Championships.

WEKAF Regional Championships

Before nationals, countries where has groups in different regions, organize different Championships to get a team to compete in Nationals.

International styles Meetings 

These are an innovative and exciting new format of WEKAF´s meetings which will begin in 2010. They are international in scope with a mixture of organization´s meetings and a friendly meeting. They are focused on specific topics while also incorporating a meaningful dinner. They are expected to be considerably more intimate than the major international meetings and would provide an optimal environment for the sharing and exchange of knowledge and ideas.

Specialized meeting for Owners of FMA schools

These are a new space in the frame of WEKAF World Championship. WEKAF has the goal to promote FMA around the World. This new format meeting will be held by first time at July 2010. It is an excellent opportunity to share successful ideas to grow and developing schools and organizations of FMA. Is designed as a space where the owners of schools will be focused in points to do a better FMA school. At the same time each one will get new ideas, innovative strategies and create networks to have a better image in front of each time more specialized clients.
